Responsibility

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Highway Civil Engineer to plan, design, execute, and supervise highway and road infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, quality control, and compliance with relevant codes and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, and review highway, roadway, and pavement projects

2. Prepare and review DPRs, drawings, BOQs, estimates, and specifications

3. Conduct alignment studies, geometric design, and pavement design

4. Ensure compliance with IRC, MoRTH, IS codes, and contract specifications

5. Supervise construction activities, site execution, and quality control

6. Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, traffic, and structural teams

7. Monitor project progress, timelines, and cost control

8. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities

9. Review contractor submissions, method statements, and material approvals

10. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory regulations

11. Prepare progress reports and assist in project documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of highway engineering and pavement design

2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, STAAD, or similar software

3. Understanding of road construction materials and testing methods

4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills

6. Strong communication and coordination abilities
