Responsibility

Job Description 

To work closely with the operations team, collect and validate operational data, identify and bridge data gaps, and support the integration of mechanical operations with digital systems. The role requires both mechanical expertise and system/IT knowledge to ensure accurate data-driven decision-making in logistics and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the operations team to capture and validate data related to fleet, equipment, and maintenance.

• Identify data gaps and ensure timely and accurate entry into the system.

• Support the rollout of digital tools, dashboards, and operational software.

• Liaise between mechanical operations and IT teams to ensure smooth data flow and system adoption.

• Monitor mechanical performance data (vehicle uptime, trailer swapping cycles, maintenance logs, etc.) and report findings.

• Provide technical insights for process improvement, safety, and reliability in operations.

• Train operational staff on basic system usage and reporting tools.

• Prepare periodic reports for management highlighting gaps, risks, and improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

• Strong IT/System knowledge (ERP, fleet management software, MS Excel/Power BI, database familiarity).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical operations and system-driven environments.

• Experience in fleet management, logistics, or plant operations preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large data sets.

• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work in field locations (Gadchiroli mines/operations) with hybrid flexibility.
